How to Download the GSET 2024 Exam Admit Card?
To download the admit card, you can follow these essential steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website: gujaratset.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the ‘Download the Examination Hall Ticket’ option.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials and submit the details.
Step 4: The GSET admit card will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Review the information displayed on your admit card to ensure accuracy.
Step 6: Download the GSET admit card and keep it saved on your computer or take a print of it.

The Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) exam is a prestigious examination conducted by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, on behalf of the Gujarat Government. The primary objective of the GSET exam is to evaluate the eligibility of candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges across Gujarat. GSET exam is an important gateway for aspiring educators who wish to pursue a career in teaching at the higher education level. The GSET exam is conducted in 33 subjects across 11 centres.

GSET exam pattern
GSET exam pattern 2024 consists of two papers which will include objective type and multiple-choice questions.
Paper I contains 50 compulsory questions carrying two marks each. These questions will evaluate the general aptitude for the GSET exam and assess the research/teaching aptitude. Further, it will focus on testing reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
In Paper II, you will be answering 100 objective type questions each carrying two marks in English Literature. The questions in both the papers will be in English and Gujarati.
You will have to mark the right answers for questions of Paper-I and Paper-II on the OMR sheet. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
You need to sit for both the papers otherwise, you will be disqualified. You will be only allowed to sit for Paper II if you sit for Paper I.
Timings for GSET exam 2024
The GSET exam 2024 will be of three hours. The Paper I will be for an hour from 9:30 am to 10:30 am while Paper II will take place for two hours from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
What to Carry on the Exam Day?
On the day of the exam, don’t forget to bring:
- Printed Admit Card
- A Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
- Stationery Items as specified in the instructions (if required).
Tips for the Exam Day
- Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes early to avoid last-minute rush.
- Avoid carrying prohibited items like mobile phones, calculators, or electronic devices.
- Stay calm and confident—proper preparation and a focused mind are your best tools.
