HPSC Assistant Professor Application Form To Reopen 

If you missed the opportunity to fill in the HPSC Assistant Professor recruitment form in 2024, you must grab this opportunity. You can apply for the HPSC Assistant Professor vacancy from March 1, 2025 to March 15, 2025. Before applying, please check the detailed Corrigendum-II available on official website: https://hpsc.gov.in/Portals/0/Corrigendum_II_AP_Advt_42_to_67_2024_24_02_2025_1.pdf. 

Read the terms and conditions carefully before applying. Do you know what a corrigendum means? Corrigendum refers to a mistake in a printed text that needs to be corrected. 

What’s in the Corrigendum? 

The Higher Education Department, Haryana has issued a corrigendum on October 30, 2024 over the Advertisement No. 42 to 67 of 2024 dated August 2, 2024. However, due to the Government of Haryana’s notification (No. 22/163/2024-5HR-III, dated November 13, 2024) regarding the sub-categorization of Scheduled Castes (SC) in Haryana, HPSC has issued another corrigendum. This corrigendum revises the recruitment process and allows affected candidates to revise their applications accordingly.

What are the key updates?

1. For SC Category Candidates 

• Revised Vacancy Bifurcation: The Higher Education Department will revise the vacancy distribution for SC candidates due to the new sub-categorization. The updated bifurcation will be announced soon.
• SC Candidates Who Have Already Applied:
  • If you have applied earlier you must now update your application form to specify your sub-category:
    • DSC (Deprived Scheduled Caste)
    • OSC (Other Scheduled Caste)
  • If you come under the DSC category you must upload a new category certificate as per Notification No. 22/163/2024-5HR-III (dated November 13, 2024).
  • If you belong to the OSC category, you do not need to submit a new certificate; your previously uploaded SC certificate remains valid.
• SC Candidates Without Available Posts in Their Sub-Category:
  • If no post is available under the DSC or OSC sub-category, your application will be considered under the General category.

2. BC-A, BC-B, and EWS Candidates

• Candidates Applying in Response to This Corrigendum:
  • If you belong to BC-A & BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer) category, you must upload a category certificate issued as per Haryana Government instructions (No. 22/132/2013-1GS-III, dated March 22, 2022) and notification No. 40/13/2024-1SW (dated July 16, 2024).
  • The certificate must be issued on or after July 16, 2024 and before the corrigendum closing date (March 15, 2025). Hey! Do not forget to do this! 
  • Certificates issued before July 16, 2024, or after the closing date will not be considered.
  • If you are from EWS category, you must upload a certificate valid for the financial year 2024-2025, issued after April 1, 2024 and before March 15, 2025. You need to keep yourself informed before applying this time. Keep these important details in mind before the application process begins again. Do the needful before March 1. 
• BC-A, BC-B, and EWS Candidates Who Have Already Applied:
  • If you have applied earlier, you must submit a fresh category certificate online.
  • After updating, you must download, review, sign, and re-upload their corrected application form.

3. ESM (Ex-Servicemen) and DESM (Dependent of Ex-Servicemen) Candidates

• ESM/DESM Candidates Who Have Already Applied:
  • Applied under the ESM category? You must upload a copy of your Identity Card issued by the Zila Sainik Board, along with:
    • ESM ID Card Number
    • Date of Issue of ESM ID Card
    • Date of Discharge from Service
  • What about DESM Candidates? You must upload your Eligibility Certificate issued by the Zila Sainik Board, including:
    • Serial Number of the Eligibility Register
    • Date of Issue of DESM Certificate
    • Renewal Details
• ESM/DESM Candidates Applying in Response to This Corrigendum:
  • ‘ESM Candidates must upload their Identity Card and enter the relevant details in the application,’ said the corrigendum.
  • ‘DESM Candidates must upload their Eligibility Certificate and enter their details in the application,’ the corrigendum said.

4. Important Notes for All Candidates

1. The other terms and conditions mentioned in Advertisement No. 42 to 67 of 2024 (dated August 2, 2024) remain unchanged and are applicable.
2. Who Can Apply Now?

As per the Corrigendum II, you can apply:

• If you did not apply earlier in response to the original advertisement (August 2, 2024) and corrigendum (October 30, 2024).
• If you have applied earlier but failed to upload the signed application form or filled incorrect details (category, qualification, etc.). Now, you must apply afresh by cancelling your previous application and submitting a new one with the requisite fee.

1. Age & Qualification Cut-off Dates:

Age will be determined as of February 15, 2025.

Educational qualifications and category certificates (BC-A, BC-B, EWS, ESM, DESM) must be valid as of March 15, 2025.

2. Application Portal & Deadline:

• • You must apply online at hpsc.gov.in.
  • The application window will be open from March 1, 2025, to March 15, 2025 (till 5:00 PM).

The application fee varies based on your social category:

• General (Male) and Other State Candidates: ₹1,000
• General (Female) and Reserved Category (Male & Female) of Haryana: ₹250
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD) of Haryana: Exempted from fee
