The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is going to conduct the BPSC 70th CCE Prelims Exam 2024 on December 13. If you have applied for the BPSC exam, you must be waiting for your admit cards. How to download the BPSC Admit Card?

Hey! Just remember this key point. You can only download your admit card online. Once the admit card is released, you will be able to download it using your login credentials. Keep them handy!  You can follow these steps to download the BPSC admit card:

  • Go to the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) at www.bpsc.bih.nic.in.
  • On the home page, click the “Download Hall Ticket for 70th Combined Competitive Exam” link.
  • You will then be directed to a new login page where you will need to enter your login details.
  • Once you have accurately entered all the required information, look for a button that may say “Download Hall Ticket.”
  • Download and take a printout of your BPSC Admit Card 2024 for 70th CCE Prelims Exam.

Without your BPSC admit card, you will not be allowed to give the BPSC exam. Your admit card is your golden ticket. So, just read the notifications thoroughly before downloading it. BPSC Exam Pattern

BPSC Preliminary Exam

The BPSC Preliminary Exam will be conducted in an offline mode consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions. You can get to know the marking scheme, type of questions, and exam duration for the prelim’s exam here below.

Type of Questions:- 150

Total Marks:- 150

Total Duration:- 2 hours (120 minutes)

Marks for Correct Answer:- +1

Marks for Incorrect Answer:- 1/3

BPSC Mains Exam

If you clear the prelims, you move on to the BPSC mains exam, which is more detailed and consists of four papers: General Hindi, General Studies Paper 1, General Studies Paper 2, and one optional subject (English Literature).

The mains examination is a descriptive-type test and is conducted for different papers, each for 3 hours. The General Hindi paper will be of 100 marks. The General Studies Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be of 300 marks each. If you select English Literature as your optional, then you need to attempt a paper of 300 marks.

BPSC Interview Process

Finally, if you do well in the mains, you’ll be called for a personality test, which is an interview to assess your suitability for administrative roles.

BPSC Salary

After passing the BPSC selection process, you will be hired for different administrative and executive levels. After getting hired, the employees of BPSC receive a monthly pay scale as per the post.

For Level 9 posts which includes Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, and Commissioner of State Tax, you will be paid Rs. 61,500/- to Rs. 72,000/-. For Level 7 posts (Rural Development Officer, Revenue Officer, Supply Inspector, Block SC & ST Welfare Officer), you will receive Rs. 59,857/- to Rs. 68,795/-.
