GATE Aspirants, your busy days are coming! Have you started preparing for the GATE English Exam? Not yet! Oh! Sorry to hear this. But start preparing for it anyway since you have your exams on February 15, 2025. This time, the GATE English exam will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. IIT-R has announced the GATE 2025 Examination schedule on its official website. If you’ve registered to appear for the GATE English 2025 exam, you can check the timetable and plan your studies accordingly.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is set to be a landmark event for aspirants aiming to pursue postgraduate studies or secure top engineering jobs in public sector undertakings (PSUs). Organized by IIT Roorkee, this year’s GATE exam will be conducted from February 1 to February 16, 2025.

GATE 2025: Exam Dates and Timings

The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted across multiple dates in two shifts:

  • Exam Dates: February 1, 2, 8, 9, and 15, 16, 2025
  • Shift Timings:
    • Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Reporting time: 8:00 AM)
    • Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (Reporting time: 1:00 PM)

Candidates are advised to check the detailed schedule for their specific subject papers on the official GATE website.

GATE 2025: Exam Pattern

The GATE exam will encompass 30 subject papers. Each paper consists of two sections:

  1. General Aptitude
  2. Subject-specific Section

    • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

    • Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions
