The notification also highlights that you can apply for RPSC English exam from January 12, 2025 to February 10, 2025. Out of 575 posts, only 21 positions are open for English literature aspirants. So, the competition is really tough! 

Eligibility Criteria

If you want to apply, do ensure that you’re not less than 21 years and not more than 40 years of age as on July 1, 2025. However, the commission has provided upper age relaxations in certain situations for reserved categories. You need to pay online application fees while applying. The application fee for general candidates is Rs. 600 /-. If you belong from reserved categories, you need to pay Rs 400/-. 

RPSC exam pattern​

If you want to apply for the RPSC exam, you must know the RPSC exam pattern​. The exam consists of written exam and interview. 

The written exam shall consist of two exams based on English Literature, each carrying 75 marks. The third paper will contain general questions related to Rajasthan. The first two papers based on English Literature will take place for three hours and the third paper will take two hours. The total marks allocated to the written exam is 200. 

The interview will carry 24 marks. The commission will summon candidates who have obtained minimum qualifying marks in written exam. So, stay updated and prepare accordingly.
