If you have applied for the UGC-NET December 2024 exam, here’s some news for you! The admit cards have finally been released. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for the UGC NET December 2024 examination. Being an aspirant, you might be aware that the exams are scheduled to take place from 3rd January to 16th January 2025. If you have registered for this exam, you can now download your admit card by visiting the official website:

Steps to Download the Admit Card
- Visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the “Admit Card Download” link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and date of birth in the required fields.
- Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the admit card.
- Take a printout for future reference.
In case of any difficulty in downloading the admit card, you can directly contact the NTA helpline at 011-40759000 or email ugcnet@nta.ac.in.
Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Shifts:
- Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Subjects: A total of 85 subjects are included.
The admit card contains essential details like the candidate’s photograph, signature, exam centre’s address, and timings. It also includes a barcode and QR code for security purposes.
UGC-NET English Exam Paper Pattern
- Paper 1: General Aptitude (Teaching/Research).
- Paper 2: Subject-specific.
- Total Questions: 150 Objective Questions (MCQs)
- Paper 1: 50 questions.
- Paper 2: 100 questions.
- Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes).
- Marking Scheme: No negative marking.
