About the Course

    The UP PGT exam syllabus for English Literature contains two sections. In Section 1, you should focus on unseen passage for comprehension, usage, tense, spelling, punctuation, narration, vocabulary, and idioms and phrases. In the Section-2, you must prepare forms of literature and figures of speech. You should follow works of authors like, William Wordsworth, John Keats, Charles Lamb, P.B. Shelley, Charles Dickens, Mathew Arnold, Alfred Tennyson, Thomas Hardy, T.S. Eliot, Kamala Das, Mulkraj Anand, Nissim Ezzekiel, Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, Ernest Hemmingway, William Faulkner, and William Shakespeare.
