What is Haryana PGT Exam?
The Haryana PGT exam is conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) to recruit qualified individuals for teaching positions in various subjects at the secondary level in Haryana schools.
Haryana PGT exam pattern
The Haryana PGT exam includes a screening test, test on English Literature, and an interview. The screening test carries 100 marks for objective-type questions and you will require 25% as minimum qualifying marks. The English Literature test will carry 150 marks and the question paper will be of descriptive type. The minimum qualifying marks would be 35%. The interview will carry weightage of 12.5%. The screening test will happen for two hours and the English Literature exam will take place for three hours. In the screening test, you will be asked questions related to Education Psychology, Pedagogy General Awareness, Reasoning, General Mental Ability, Comprehension, Logical reasoning and Analytical Ability, Decision Making and Problem Solving, Basic numeracy, Data Interpretation and question-related to History, Geography, Polity, Economy and Culture of Haryana.

HPSC PGT Exam Syllabus
Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) released the official notice Haryana PGT New Syllabus and Exam Pattern for the 3069 PGT recruitment exam.
